1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using CueToDo (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms apply in addition to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement referenced in Section 14.
2. License to Use CueToDo
CueToDo is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Section 14). Under it, you may use CueToDo on any Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules, for your personal use (or ordinary internal business use, such as planning your own work day).
3. No Account Required
CueToDo does not require you to register an account. Any data you create is tied to your device and, optionally, your personal Apple Account via private iCloud sync, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. CueToDo Pro Subscription
CueToDo is free to download. Viewing the Cues you have is free. Adding, editing, and completing Cues needs CueToDo Pro, an auto-renewing subscription:
- Monthly: £3.99 per month in the UK, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers
There is no yearly plan and no lifetime purchase. Prices in other countries are set by Apple's price tiers and may include local taxes. The price shown in the App Store before you confirm is the price of that purchase. Key subscription terms:
- Free trial. The 7-day free trial is Apple's introductory offer, and Apple decides who is eligible. Your Apple Account is charged £3.99 (or the local price) when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically each month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device, or from Manage Subscription in CueToDo's Settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If your subscription ends, your Cues are not deleted. They stay in the app to view, and adding, editing, and completing them needs CueToDo Pro again. Restore Purchases in the app restores an active subscription on the same Apple Account.
- Family Sharing is not available for CueToDo Pro.
5. Refunds
All purchases are billed by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not CueToDo, in accordance with Apple's own refund policies. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Your Content
Cues, notes, and lists you create in CueToDo remain yours. We claim no ownership over the content you create, and we do not receive it (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important.
7. Calendars, Reminders, Location & Notifications
Calendar, Reminders, Location, and Notifications run only after you allow them. The rest of the App works if you decline. If you turn on calendar write-back or Reminders sync, CueToDo adds and changes events and reminders on your behalf. Those changes are stored by Calendar and Reminders, and stay there if you later stop using CueToDo.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation
- Attempt to circumvent CueToDo Pro's subscription mechanism
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
9. Planning Tool, Not a Guarantee
CueToDo is a planning tool. Wake, sleep, and the rail are tools, not a promise that a day will go as planned. Notifications, place alerts, widgets, and Live Activities depend on iOS, your device settings, and the permissions you grant, and may be delayed or not delivered. Do not rely on CueToDo as your only reminder for anything critical, such as medication, safety, or legal deadlines.
10. Intellectual Property
CueToDo, its design, icon, and underlying software are the property of CueToDo's developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of the App itself to you.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CueToDo's developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including missed tasks or reminders.
13. Termination
You may stop using CueToDo at any time by deleting the App from your device (and cancelling CueToDo Pro, see Section 4). We may suspend or terminate access to the App for any user who violates these Terms.
14. Apple's Standard EULA
Because CueToDo is distributed through Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the App, and takes precedence in the event of a direct conflict with these Terms regarding Apple's role as licensor.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law in your place of residence to the extent local consumer-protection law requires it; otherwise, they are governed by the laws applicable to CueToDo's developer, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
